Le R.De.Q. (Le Regiment de Quebec) - established as the Provisional Battalion of Quebec in 1869, it was renamed the 87th Quebec Battalion of Infantry in 1881, then the 87th Quebec Regiment in 1900 and in 1920 it adopted the name The Quebec Regiment.
