UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, black and white uniface printer's proof on paper, one pound, Melbourne, 1st Jany.186-, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, pencilled 'All the £1 notes to be dated as this 1st Jany 186' at top and 'March 1860' at signature reserve (MVR 2a). Remnants of glue stains on back and front, otherwise good extremely fine.
