JUSTINIAN II, (685-695 First Reign), gold solidus, (4.22 g), struck at Constantinople mint, uncertain Officina, issued (687-692), Class II, obv. draped facing bust holding globe on cross, with short beard, wearing crown, around [D IUSTINIA]NUS PE AV, rev. Cross potent on three steps, around VICTORIA AVG U [..], (S.1246, DOC 5, MIB 6). Round flan weak in places, filed on edge nearly extremely fine and rare.
