LOKRIS, Lokris Opuntia, silver quarter stater, (340's B.C.), (2.48 g), obv. Persephone wreathed head to left, rev. Ajax son of Oileus, advancing r., with sword and shield, to left **OPONTIW* (cf.S.2330, BCD 69 [NAC 55], SNG Lockett 1697 [similar dies]). Nearly very fine, scarce left facing bust.
