LYDIA, Tralles, (c.100-90 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.44 g), obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left **TRAL*, to right a corn-ear, **DION* above, (cf.S.4745, SNG von Aulock -, SNG Cop. -, BMC -). Very fine and very rare.
