ANCIENT GREEK, an interesting group including a silver drachm of Cappadocia, Ariobarzanes I, Philoromaios, (95-63 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.71 g), year 32 = 64 B.C., obv. head of Ariobarzanes I to right, wearing diadem, rev. Athena standing to left with left hand supporting spear and shield, and right hand outstretched supporting Nike left, holding wreath. **BASILEWS* on right, APIOBAPZAN[OY] on left, **FIL*OPOMAIOY below, to left **PA* monogram, date **BL* in exergue, (S.7302) (illustrated); Parthia, Kingdom of, Artabanus III, (c.A.D. 80-90), silver drachm, (3.49 g), Ecbatana mint, obv. medium size bust wearing a diadem to left with triangular shaped beard, hair in vertical lines, rev. archer seated right on throne represented as a cross, seven line inscription, monogram AT and dot, (cf.S.5826, Sellwood 74.7); Cilicia, Holmi, silver obol, obv. Athena head right helmeted, rev. head of Apollo, hair in tainia, (S.5551); copper coins, Ionia, Priene, 3rd century B.C., (5) obv. Athena, rev.legend in two lines within maeander pattern, (S.4550); Syria, Seleukis and Pieria, Antioch, 1st century B.C., AE tetrachalkon, obv. Zeus head right, rev. Zeus seated left, (S.5860); Palestine, Judaea, First Revolt, (A.D. 66-70), copper prutah, obv. amphora with broad rim and two handles "year two" in Hebrew around, rev. vine leaf on small branch, "the Freedom of Zion" as Hebrew legend around, (S.5639); Amisos (2), obv. aegis, rev. Nike to right, (S3642); Sikyonia, Sikyon, AE 14, copper dichalkon or Attic tetartemorion, c.303 B.C., (2.29 g), Obv.
