TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, issued 103-112 Rome mint, (3.15 g), obv. laureate head to right of Trajan, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P, rev. trophy of Dacian arms facing, around COS V P P SPQR OPTIMO PRINC, in exergue DAC AVG, (cf.S.3136, RIC 98, RSC 120). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine and very scarce as such.
