TRAJAN, Consecratio issue by Trajan Decius, (A.D. 249-251), silver antoninianus, Milan mint, issued A.D. 250-251, (3.24 g), obv. radiate head of Trajan to right, around DIVO TRAIANO, rev. Altar lighted, CONSECRATIO around, (S.9471, RIC 86b, RSC 665). Ragged edge, with flan cracks, very fine and rare.

Ex Dr V.J.A.Flynn Collection, from Noble Numismatics with their ticket, previously from Cornelius C. Vermeule III Collection, sold in Triton III (lot 1724 part with his ticket).
