SPORTING MEDALS, includes Australian Maccabi Council, Interstate Sports Carnival, Brisbane 1971-2 (39) in silvered bronze (50mm); also Sydney 1973-74 (41) in silvered bronze (50mm) (2); Australian Maccabi Federation, Interstate Sports Carnival, Melbourne 1975-76 (43) in gilt bronze (50mm), and another identical in silvered bronze; Brisbane 1976.77 (44) in silvered bronze (50mm) (2); Brisbane 1981/82 (49) in gilt bronze (50mm) (3); Sydney 1982/83 (50) in silvered bronze with obverse plated (50mm); Adelaide 1983/84 (51) in gilt bronze (50mm), and another in silvered bronze; Perth 1984-85 (52) in silvered bronze (50mm), and in bronze (2); Maccabi Sports Carnival in plated silvered bronze (49mm), reverse inscribed for Sydney 1988/89 (56); all the above prize medals are for Lawn Bowls, all are unnamed and all game's numbers recorded above after the year are marked in the Star of David on the obverse except for last which is on the reverse; Yachting medal in gilt bronze (46mm), by T.Stokes, reverse inscribed, 'STEAK 'n KIDNEY '87'; Gold Coast LBC badge in gilt and enamel; City Bowling Club Sydney N.S.W. 100th Anniversary badge in gilt and enamel. All but one medal in removable individual plastic satchels and one container, all with neck ribbon attached and the Maccabi Sports Carnival medal has a suspension loop and neck cord, mostly good very fine - extremely fine. Steak 'n Kidney is a 12-metre yacht that competed in the 1987 Defender Selection Series for the America's Cup. She was acquired by the Australia 12m Historic Trust in 2011 and is now based near Drummoyne, Sydney, NSW and is part of the fleet used by the Australian 12 Metre Association.
