ANCIENT BRITISH, South Western Region, Uninscribed coins, Durotriges, Cranborne Chase type, (c.58 B.C.-43 A.D.), silver stater, (5.24 g), obv. Durotrigan wreath pattern with upward facing leaves, rev. disjointed horse to left, with stylised head, pellets and oval shapes around, (S.365, ABC 2157, Van A 1235-1, SW 5-6, S 365, BMC 2525-46, M 317). Good silver, compact flan, very fine or better.

Ex Collection Gallagher of Burwash (East Sussex). With collector's ticket.
