GEORGE IV, second issue, penny, 1827 (S.3823). Scratches on both sides, otherwise nearly fine.

Over 200,000 pennies minted by the Royal Mint in 1827 were shipped to the Australian colony of Van Diemen's Land on board the convict transport ship 'Layton' which arrived at Hobart Town on 9 October 1827.
