CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Middle to late period, (from 5th - 3rd century B.C.), large size hollow handled spade money type I (Wang Yu-Ch'uan), with pointed feet, (39.40 g) height 95mm, (Hartill 2.160, cf.TFP 16). Green oxidation on most of surface, otherwise very fine and very rare.
