OTTOMAN EMPIRE, late 18th century, jambiya dagger in the style of earlier 16th and 17th century daggers, with Wootz (Damascus watered) steel blade 17.75cm long with a nicely engraved silver cross guard, bone grip, the scabbard with engraved silver locket and chape and at end of chape is a horse's head, total length including scabbard 30.5cm. A few small dents in locket and chape, otherwise good very fine and rare.

No mail out for this lot, collection only from the Sydney Office, or buyer to make own arrangements.
