GREAT BRITAIN, Stamford, Spalding and Boston Banking Company Limited, five pounds, Stamford, 8 Feby 1898, No. L 1966 (Outing 2036). A 'V' shaped cancellation wedge reinstated at signature reserve, many bank stamps and writing on the back, otherwise nearly fine.

Taken over by Barclays & Co Ltd in 1911.
