UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, black and white uniface printer's proof, on card, first issue, five pounds, Melbourne, 18-, imprint Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, stamped 'SPECIMEN' across signature reserves and vertically in centre (MVR.1). Top right corner missing, rough margins with tears, otherwise extremely fine and very rare.
