EDWARD THE CONFESSOR, (1042-1066), penny, radiate type, issued 1044-1046, obv. EDPER D REX, radiate bust of king to left, rev. DYRGRIM ON LINC (Thorgrim of Lincoln) with small cross pattee, (S.1173, N.816, Br.2, BMC i). Crinkled, with peckmarking, very good and rare.
