WILLIAM I, the Conqueror (1066-1087), silver penny, Bonnet type, Br.II type, issued 1068-1070, rev. AELPAE ON LVNDEN (Aelwae of London mint), (S.1251, N.842). Dark tone, half of the flan is buckled, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
