M. HERENNIUS, (108-107 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.620 grams), obv. Piety head to right, behind PIETAS, rev. Catanaean running right bearing father on shoulders, M.HERENNI on left, (S.237 [£75], Cr.308/1a, Syd.567a). Several scratches on the reverse, otherwise very fine.
