LUCIUS AURELIUS COTTA, (c.105 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.818 grams), obv. draped bust of Vulcan to right, wearing laureate pileus, tongs and * behind all within myrtle wreath, rev. eagle on thunderbolt, L COT below, R under wing all within laurel wreath, (S.191 [£85 VF], Cr.314/1d, Syd.577b). Good fine and rare.
