MN. CORDIUS RUFUS, (46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.984 grams), obv. conjoined laureate heads of the Dioscuri to right, each surmounted by a star, RVFVS III V[IR] below and behind, rev. Venus Verticordia standing left, holding scales and sceptre, Cupid on her shoulder, MN CORD[IVS] behind, (S.440 [£60 VF], Cr.463/1a, Syd.976c, B.Cordia 1). Attractive dark grey patina, weak in places, otherwise very fine and very scarce.
