NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE sestertius, issued c.65, Lugdunum mint, (25.5 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP PP, rev. Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, ROMA in exergue, S C across field, (S.1961 [£500 VF], RIC 442, WCN 421). Attractive even brown patina, nearly very fine and rare.
