HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 118, (3.30 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on right shoulder, around [IMP CAE]SAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. SALVS AVG in exergue, around P M TR P C[OS II], Salus seated to left on throne and serpent feeding coming from an altar feeding out of a patera, (S.-, RIC 46, RSC 1350). Flan flaw on neck and weak in places, otherwise good very fine.
