SABINA JUNIOR, wife of Hadrian, (died A.D.136-7), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.832 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Sabina, with hair knotted at back of head, around SABINA AVGVSTA, rev. CONCORD IA AVG around, Concordia standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae drawing a fold of drapery from left shoulder, (cf.S.1186 [£150], RIC 390, RSC 3c); Hadrian, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 119, (2.962 grams), obv. laureate bust with drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. across VOT PVB, around P M TR P COS III, Pietas standing right raising both hands, (S.-, RIC 47, RSC 1475). Both with dark tone, fine - nearly very fine, first coin scarce. (2)
