GETA, as Caesar, (A.D. 209-212), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 203-208, (9.456, grams), obv. bare head of Geta draped and cuirassed to right, around [SEPT]IMIVS GETA [AVG], rev. around CONCORDIA, MILIT in exergue, SC across field, Concordia standing to left between six standards, (S.2026, RIC 141b, C.20 var.). Nearly fine and rare.

Ex Cornelius C. Vermeule III Collection, sold in Triton III (lot 1716 part) for the benefit of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
