CONSTANTINE I, (A.D.307-337), AE folles, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 325-6, (3.548 grams), obv. CONSTAN TINVS AVG, diademed head to right, rev. around D N CONSTANTINI MAX AVG, SMH**D* in exergue within inner wreath VOT/XXX in three lines, (cf.S.3873, RIC 72 [R3]). Dark green patina with some dustiness, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
