CONSTANTIUS II, (A.D. 337-361), silver heavy siliqua, Nicomedia mint, issued A.D. c.340-351 (2.848 grams), obv. rosette-diademed head of Constantius II to right, around DN CONSTAN TIVS PF AVG, rev. VOT XXX MVLTIS XXXX within wreath, SMN in exergue, (S.3996, RIC 41, RSC.340e). Ragged edge, otherwise very fine and rare.

Ex Cornelius C. Vermeule III Collection, sold in Triton III (lot 1729 part) for the benefit of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts with his ticket.
