MAGNUS MAXIMUS, (A.D. 383-388), clipped siliqua, Treveri mint, [1.000 grams], obv. Laureate bust to r., [D N MAG MAX] IMVS PF AVG, rev. Roma seated facing head to left, VIRTVS R[O MANORVM], around, TRP[S] in exergue, (S.4201, RIC 84b, RSC 20b). Clipped with attractive tone, very fine.
