NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 63, (7.40 grams), obv. radiate head of Nero to right, around NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERMANIC, rev. PONTIF MAX TR POT IMP P P, nero as Apollo advancing to the right playing the lyre, (cf.S.686 & 689, RIC 121, BMC 257). Evenly worn, roughness on head, otherwise fine and rare.

It is unusual for no SC on the reverse.
