COVENT GARDEN THEATRE (FIRST THEATRE) PASS TO GALLERY, in copper (33mm) by T.Pingo undated but issued in 1746. (D&W.14/172). Metal flawed otherwise very fine and very rare.

Purchased from Schwer in 1984 struck to commemorate the Duke of Cumberland's Victory at Culloden in 1746. David Garrick started performing at this theatre in this year.
