HER MAJESTY'S THEATRE (HAYMARKET) 1842, in ivory, round (39mm) signed T.G. Pole, named to Duke of Wellington, Pit Box 3, 4 (D&W.30/32; cf Glendining's Sale 10 June 1987, lot 478). Pierced, good very fine, rare and important being the pass for the Duke of Wellington, the heroic leader and victor of Waterloo.

Purchased from Format in 1982.
