HER MAJESTY'S THEATRE (HAYMARKET) 1848, in ivory, round (39mm) signed C. Nugent, named to Duke of Wellington Pit Box 3, 4. (D&W.30/cf 323; cf Glendining's sale 10 June 1987, lot 479). Pierced with suspension ring. Good very fine, rare and important being the pass for the Duke of Wellington, the heroic victor at Waterloo.

Purchased from Spink in 1975.
