WILLIAM HENRY WEST BETTY, 1804, medalet in brass (24mm) by Kettle (M.6191) edge grained. Very fine and scarce.

Ex CMW Ltd, Sale 16 October 1979 (lot 369 part). West Betty (1791-1874) came to London in 1804 to perform as a Shakespearian actor and was widely acclaimed.
