EAST LONDON, Municipal Office, 1d, 1880, in bronze, issued by the Municipality as a ferry token to cross the Buffalo River to West Bank (T.C44; M.346)(6). Municiple Tramways, blue celluloid or plastic token for 1/2d, undated but circa 1919-30 (T.C45; M.355). Fine - good very fine (7).

The first three and the last ex R.J.Ford (lot 910 part) Collection, the fourth ex J.C.Hardy Collection and the other two acquired in 1980's.
