CANADA, Edward VIII, 1937 Canada Pattern dollar, struck in platinum, obv. EDWARDVS VIII D:G: REX IND IMP, portrait of Edward VIII similar to that of Thomas Humphrey Paget (1893-1974) design on the United Kingdom 1937 crown; the reverse design, which was inspired by George V/George VI coinage, is previously unpublished, 38 mm, (35 grams approx). A plain edge proof, unique, FDC struck 'en medaille'.
