CELTIC, Danube Region, Imitation of Philip III, (c.2nd - 1st century B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.29 grams), obv. crude head of Heracles to right, wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to left holding eagle and sceptre, to right **FILIPPOU, below ** BASILEWS, symbols and monograms to left I below throne, (cf.S.210, CCC BM Vol.I, 185ff, cf.Sammlung Lanz 898-9). Double struck, good very fine and rare.
