ITALY, Lucania, Herakleia, (282-271 B.C.), silver stater of reduced standard, (5.73 grams), obv. head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet, rev. Heracles standing holding club and lion skin and a bow, owl flying on left, (cf.S.396, SNG Cop.1108). With surface defects including scratches, nearly very fine and scarce.
