ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver stater or nomos (7.7 grams), obv. head of female to right, wearing band, all enclosed within wreath, rev. corn ear, ME to right, stalk to left, (cf.S.406, Noe [NN&M 47, 1984] 416, Naville 5, No.450, 451 same dies). Good fine and scarce.
