SICILY, Syracuse, (c.485-479 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.850 grams), obv. slow quadriga driven to right by male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning horses, rev. **SU*R**AKOSI ON around to right, head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, diadem of beads, four dolphins around, (cf.S.914, Boehringer 274 same dies [obverse 126/reverse 190 dies], SNG ANS -. Light pitting and porosity on surface, otherwise fine and rare.

Boehringer notes only 6 specimens from these dies.
