SICILY, Syracuse, Kingdom of, Hiketas (287-278 B.C.), AE 23 (9.480 grams), obv. youthful laureate head of Zeus Hellanios to left, around **DIOS [ELLANIOU]*, symbol behind, rev. **SURAK OSIWN, eagle standing left on fulmen [thunderbolt] with open wings, (S.1211-2, BMC 468, SNG ANS 782-788). Even brown patina, good very fine, clear ethnic and very scarce.
