MACEDON, Roman Provincial issue, (c.90-75 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.540 grams), obv. head of Alexander the Great to right, with horn of Ammon and flowing hair, [MAKE**DON]WN*, **Q* behind, rev. AESILLAS / Q above, club between money chest and quaestor's chair, all within olive wreath, (S.1463, BMC 81-83, SNG Von Post 50-1). Off centred on the reverse, die deterioration on the obverse, otherwise, very fine and scarce.
