CARIA, Hidrieus as satrap, (353-344 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.27 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo three-quarter face to right, rev. Zeus Labraundos standing to right holding labrys and spear, to right **IDRIEWS*, I in reverse field, (S.4958, BMC 1 [p.183] variant). Attractively toned, good very fine and rare.
