SYRIA, Roman Province of Syria, after Seleucid kingdom of Philip Philadelphos, (after 64 B.C.) and issued in 26-5 B.C., silver tetradrachm, (14.30 grams), Antioch mint, obv. head of Philip to right, with diademed, rev. Zeus seated to left, on throne holding Nike, XAT monogram to left, K**D* in exergue, partial legends left and right, (S.7215, cf.BMC 7, RPC 4140, Numismatic Chron. 1919, p.108 No.33, SNG Fitz. 5830). Very fine.

Ex. Livia Hoard (this hoard is being published in ANS MN 1999, in all 17 pieces were in the Livia Hoard).
