SYRIA, Seleucia and Pieria, Rhosos, (1st century B.C.), AE 18-20, (7.586 grams), obv. veiled and turreted head of Tyche to right, palm over shoulder, rev. Syrian divinity (Hadad?) standing on pedestal between two recumbent bulls, holding thunderbolt and knife, **ROSEWN/THS IERAS to right, **KAI ASULOU to left, monogramns in exergue and right field, (cf.S.5885; Levante, Num. Chron. 1985, Nos.8-13 [p.240, Pl.42], SNG Cop. 387). Attractive blue-green patina, very fine and rare.
