BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Euthydemos, (c.230-190 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.352 grams), obv. diademed bust of king Euthydemos to right, rev. naked Herakles seated to left on rock, holding club set on a pile of stones, to right **BASILEWS, to left **EUQUDHMOU*, PK monogram to right, (S.7616 [£600], M.94, Bopearachi Series 12 No.16, Pl.3). Field porosity, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
