EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.878 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt around **SWTHROS PTOLEMAIOU, to left cornucopiae, (cf.S.7806, Sv.1001, SNG Cop.167). Chipped at edge, good very fine, scarce.
