EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.12 grams), Sidon mint, issued year 3 = 244-3 B.C., obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right with dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on a thunderbolt, to left SI above IH, G to right over monogram, around **[SWTHROS] PTOLEMAIOU, (BMC 18, Sv.1028, cf.S.7810). Very fine.
