MAURETANIA, Kingdom of, Juba II, (25 B.C. - A.D. 23), silver denarius, (2.422 grams), issued year 41 = A.D. 16-17, obv. head of Juba II to right wearing lion skin, to right REX IVBA, rev. capricorn to right, with rudder, cornucopiae and globe, below R XXXXI, (cf.S.5985, SNG Cop. 587-8, Mazard 211). Black and blue tone, as struck, uncirculated.
