AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE quadrans, Rome mint, issued 4 B.C. by C. Rubellius Blandus, the IIIviri monetales, (2.89 grams), obv. C RVBELLIVS BLANDVS around SC, rev. III VIR A A A F F around garlanded altar with bowl shaped top, (cf.S.517, RIC 467, CBN 868, BMC 269), another, Rome mint, issued 4 B.C., by L. Valerius Catullus, (3.66 grams), obv. L VALERIVS CATVLLVS around SC, rev. similar, (cf.S.517, RIC 468, CBN 874, BMC 270). Very fine, both scarce. (2)
