FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D. 141), posthumous issue, AE dupondius, Rome mint, (13.1 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. around AETER NITAS, S C across field, Aeternitas standing to left, holding globe, (cf.S.1368, RIC 1164). Attractive green patina, very fine.
