MARCUS AURELIUS (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, Rome mint, probably issued 171-172, (24.92 grams), obv. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XX[VI], laureate head to right, rev. IMP VI COS III around, SC across field, Roma seated left, on cuirass, holding sceptre, elbow on round shield, etc., (S.-, RIC 1037, C.284). Squarish flan, green patination, nearly very fine/fine.
